My wardrobe looks like it's close to exploding, but how come I have to struggle to find something to wear? I don't really know what's inside my wardrobe, to be honest. I think there's a gateway to Narnia or something. Not that you can get to it. You'll probably get entrapped and strangled by the freely-hanging ribbons and laces and die mid-crawl...
I saw this really adorable wardrobe at Ikea. Well, Ikea has lots of adorable stuff - I admit I love the children's section though I can't really get anything from there. Well, I can, but I won't - but I don't usually want furniture with that desperate longing. It's this white, heavy wooden piece. It has a dark brown version that looks like a replica of the Narnia cupboard from the movie, but the white one looks perfect with my future-bedroom. Also the brown one looks rather intimidating. The sort where you WILL find skeletons in it.
The only problem is where is it gonna go. The room already has its own built-in closet. My room isn't huge, but I am going to need to fit in a bed, a desk, shoe-rack, dresser or at least somewhere to put my personal-care stuff , guitar, and yes most importantly BOOKSHELVES. Lots and lots of bookshelves! I don't know how I'm going to manage it. My new room is a little smaller than my current one, but right now I already have a problem trying to find a nice spot for The Picture of Dorian Gray, nevermind all 1200 pages of the His Dark Materials trilogy or Breaking Dawn! Ah, and my CDs and audio system. And my stuffed toys - laugh all you want but sometimes I look up and see this utterly cuuuuuute stuff animal that I cannot resist. I have a gigantic stuffed golden retriever - stuffed with down, it's utterly soft and huggable! - which can be pretty funny, but then you haven't seen my life-sized alligator.
Actually I like my current bedroom, despite all the dust bunnies. It's not a studio apartment of its own, but it's pretty big as far as HDB bedrooms go. It always looks dark, though, 'cos it's a combo of white and dark blue. I think I'm the only one who likes it though. It's the messiest room in my house, though unintentionally. There's just too many stacks and piles. My new bedroom is going to be pretty dark too. It has only one set of windows, at the corner. It has its own loo, which may or may not be quite a deal. The window looks toward the pool and also the block next door; great for cultivating any stalker-esque characteristics.
The estate is teeming with ang mohs. Even next-door. They have this adorable kid, with blonde hair and baby-blue eyes. They also own a small white dog which might be tough at first, 'cos my dog hates anything small and white.
i thought the world of you
